I have completed testing and tuning with the Akrapovic full carbon racing system on the 2021 Mt09 and am very happy with the results. The system is the usual high quality we have all come to expect from Akrapovic it looks good and makes good power
It does include an o2 extender and the o2 bung accepts wide band o2 sensors for tuning
Install took me an hour and 15 minutes from start to finish. I removed the top radiator mounting bolts which allowed me to slide the radiator off the bottom mount. I also loosened the bottom radiator bracket bolt so the bracket could move around which eased install. Starting at the head I installed the left most header tube first , hand tightening the bolts and moved across the bike. I had no issues putting any of them on. I used new exhaust gaskets but think you would be fine reusing the stock ones as they are very thick. I moved towards the back of the bike putting each pipe on without difficulty. I used a spring tool I had ( Akra should supply one but does not) I was impressed with the quality of bolts and they even supply matching bolts for the left passenger pegs so they match the ones you switch out to install the mounting bracket. The bracket is nice and light, unlike the previous generations boat anchor bracket that was used to hold the canister. Once the exhaust was on the bike , I moved from the back of the bike forward to tighten all the bolts. Many people do this backwards and start at the front of the bike which can give you alignment issues.
My highly calibrated bathroom scale weighed the stock exhaust at 16 lbs with the Akrapovic weighing in at 10.2 lbs with all the hardware for a savings of almost6 lbs
I wish the canister was a little shorter but overall am very happy with the looks, quality and the performance speaking of which lets get to the numbers
First is stock bike vs Akrapovic exhaust with stock ecu (no tuning): Nice gains across the range with no areas below the stock bike

next lets look at Akrapovic with stock ecu (no tuning) vs Akrapovic with my flash. Even more gains across the board
Now lets compare stock vs Akrapovic exhaust and my flash. Really impressive gains across the entire range! So much for the belief full systems only add top end power !!!
In the middle of the tuning I decided to do back to back runs with the db killer in vs out and to my surprise the db killer in actually had a better curve. On the dyno the db killer did not seem to make any difference in noise level though. So a win by one standard a fail by another. On the street I could not hear much difference with the DB killer in or out . Blue line is DB killer in . Red is DB killer out.
All of these runs are with zero changes to the intake side.

YOU WILL GET AN INITIAL CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AFTER THE FLASH. IT WILL CLEAR ON ITS OWN AFTER APPROX. 20 MILES AND A KEY CYCLE. AFTER IT CLEARS THE DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM WILL FUNCTION AS NORMAL
