Equipment:
When doing a custom flash in house I use the latest Woolich software to achieve maximum performance and rideability. I stand behind my work 100% and will ensure you are happy with the results. The tuning is all done through the flash including fuel changes no piggyback fuel controller is needed.
I use a Dyno Jet 250i inertia dyno with tach signal and o2 analyzer. All Dynometers can read different and there is variation in numbers from dyno to dyno. Peak number from one dyno to the next can not be compared. What can be compared is percentage of gains and shape of the curve. I will make sure I get every horse power available with the most area under the curve for maximum acceleration.
Process:
I start with a baseline dyno run so we know where we are starting from.
The flashing process start by attaching a harness to the bike to interface with the ecu. Once installed I am able to read the part number off of the ecu to be sure we are starting with the correct file.
I then create a baseline flash to start the tuning process from. I use my experience to take advantage of all the features available for the flash with the bike I am flashing. These features vary from bike to bike but in general I remove all throttle and speed based restrictions turn off sensors that will effect the tuning process and remove check engine light codes for the sensors we don't want active.
Next, I attach data logging equipment to the bike and take it for several street rides. This is key to getting the smoothest throttle and best fueling in 90% of the riding that most people do.
Next, I put the bike on my dyno and use all the settings available to extract as much power as possible from the bike.
The process generally takes 3-4 hours of dyno time and approx 50 miles of riding
I email you a dyno run comparing when It arrived to when it leaves
Pricing:
Varies by bike model and year , please contact me for a quote
Requirements:
A full tank of gas (If bike arrives with less then a full tank and I must stop and get gas there will be a $25 surcharge plus the price of the gas)
17 mm wide band o2 bung in exhaust ( I can sometimes use an adaptor in a narrow band bung)
Bike be in good running condition when it arrives
Air filter recently cleaned (if going to upgrade to aftermarket filer change it before the tune. I sell Sprint filters which perform awesome and are very easy to maintain)
Fresh oil and plugs
Chain and sprockets in good condition
