I weighed the Akrapovic system at 11 lbs for a 6 lb savings from stock
 First run shows the stock GSX8 vs with the Akrapovic exhaust,  stage 1 air box mod, sprint filter and  my ECU flash .    Crazy Gains!!  I wish I could quantify the throttle response improvements!!  10 hp gain at the new peak with Over 80 hp from 6500 rpm to redline,  over 55 ftlbs of torque from 4000-8000 rpm!

  .But wait!  Theres more!  Here is comparing the stock bike to the GSX8 with the Akrapovic full exhaust ,  stage 2 AB mod,  sprint filter and my flash.      It just keeps getting better!  A 12 hp gain at the new peak,  over 80 hp from even earlier with an even stronger torque curve.

B mode throttle map: More linear and smooth , removing the dead spot early in the stock throttle map

Disable PAIR Valve (on aftermarket exhausts , optional)

Disable Fuel Cut

Disable EVAP ( If bike equipped)

The improvements with this combination are amazing!! You will be blown away with the results !!



This is a completely new exhaust designed from scratch and constructed using lightweight race-proven materials. A carbon-fibre muffler outer sleeve, heatshield, and clamp, a titanium end cap, stainless-steel header, resonator, and link pipe, and a black-coated aluminium muffler bracket create a weight saving of 39.6% (3.2 kg) over the stock exhaust. Alternate routing of the exhaust places it on the right side of the machine (the standard version goes under the bike), resulting in a more racing style, and the carbon-fibre heatshield provides protection from heat and an attractive final touch. It offers power and torque increases of 4.7 kW (6.4 hp) at 9,200 rpm and 4.7 Nm at 7,650 rpm, respectively, when tested on the Akrapovič dyno and compared to a Suzuki GSX-8S equipped with the standard stock system.

The exhaust has a resonator in the link pipe, giving the rider a unique sound experience, with a racing and vivid tone, while not compromising performance. The plug-and-play installation means no remapping is needed.

This exhaust system is compatible with the original Suzuki soft side cases set.

Combined with my flash it adds significant area under the curve with gains through the midrange and top end when compared to the stock air box or the stage 1 AB mod
