.for now the only exhausts change I can support with the flash is the Full Akrapovic exhaust and the Vandemon full exhaust. I was also using a sprint air filter when developing the flash but did not see enough increase in fuel demands from it that I feel it would make a significant difference if you are using a different air filter.
As more bikes come to the shop for a tune with different set ups I will have additional set ups available.
This is not your typical flash/tune. I have spent many hours both data logging the bike on the road and dialing it in on the dyno to ensure that all throttle positions are tuned for proper air fuel ratio. The tuning was done for EACH INDIVIDUAL CYLINDER. This made a huge difference to the overall smoothness and polished feeling of the bike. The bike is so smooth and easy to ride in all situations now. Even around town. At rpm’s that the motor would chug and complain it now rides flawlessly. My bike was one of them that would occasionally stall while pulling to a stop. I now never does this. When you twist the throttle the power is immediate and immense.
I also went through the throttle tables in each mode. Now all modes make full power at full throttle, but have a very different feel when using them. No longer are you stuck using a throttle that doesn’t make full power because you like the feel of it. Race is still the most aggressive and Rain the least. My goal for each throttle was to achieve three distinct throttles but for each of them to feel natural and linear.
EBC settings have been adjusted. I did not feel that the stock EBC 3 setting removed enough engine braking. I did not think there was much difference no matter what I set it at. EBC 1 is now equivalent to stock EBC3. EBC 2 and 3 reduce engine braking even more. If you want to retain the stock EBC settings I can do that also.
I spent a lot of time testing ignition time settings and was able to find some additional hp without any aggressive changes.
I set the fans to come on at 195 degrees so the bike does not get as hot in stop and go traffic or while sitting at a light. The fans will not come on when you are riding.
O2 sensors are disabled and can be unplugged and removed from the bike without receiving a check engine light
The evap is disabled so it can be unplugged and removed without receiving a check engine light
The exhaust valve is disabled so it can be unplugged and removed without receiving a check engine light.
Deceleration fuel cut is disabled to smooth out the throttle
The pair valve is disabled so it can be removed without a code
