I tried several things with the intake system to try to pick up more hp.  I will not bore you with pictures or dyno charts with no changes, but none made any type of real difference. 

I ordered new intake snorkels and shortened them, so the end was under the open screen area on the intake covers.  I really thought this would show some gains, but it did not.

I tried it with the stock air filter and a DNA drop in filter, each time no change.


I tried the DNA drop in filter with the stock air box and with the shortened intake snorkels with no change. 

So.... if you want a new filter for ease of maintenance go for it but you will not see more power with it.
