The 2021 Yamaha MT-09 has been revised with many features including a refined chassis and engine package.
Our R&D team immediately went to work on the development for the new Yamaha and called on our AT2 profile to handle the power and torque of the 890cc three cylinder - torque monster engine. The AT2 is perfect styling for the MT-09 and incorporates our exclusive Works Finish an aggressively styled matte finish carbon fiber end cap complimented by a facet-formed tip while adding an aggressive GP tone.
Right away the bike lost 6 pounds by removing the stock system and installing the AT2 Race Series full system. With plenty of torque on the bottom end we focused on bringing the power more to the top of the spectrum. After development and testing was all said and done the AT2 gave the MT-09 a nice 2.7% increase in max HP and a 1.6% in max torque.
